The selection criteria are grouped into five categories, each category is evaluated on a scale of 0-10 and the individual evaluations are weighted with weighting factors to come up with the score of the candidates. In particular, the following are considered:
- The GPA of the undergraduate degree, the type of degree and the quality of the candidate’s analytical score with an emphasis on his/her performance in courses related to the programme with a weighting factor of 35%. The minimum grade of the undergraduate degree or diploma must be at least six (6) on a 0-10 scale (or equivalent if another grading scale applies).
- The personal interview, the evaluation of the candidate’s CV and the ranking of the candidate among his/her fellow students with a weighting factor of 25%.
- Possible published work of the candidate with a weighting factor of 20%.
- The candidate’s English language skills with a weighting factor of 10%.
- The general research or professional experience with a weighting factor of 10%
