Panagiotis Katsaros is Professor at the School of Informatics of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTh), Greece. He holds a Bachelor in Mathematics from AUTh, a Master on Software Engineering from Aston University in Birmingham and a Ph.D. in Computer Science from AUTh. Prof. Katsaros has published over 100 research papers in international journals and conference proceedings on Software Engineering and Systems/software security.
His specific interests refer to the formal verification of software/systems, the model-based design, the analysis of dependability and security and the simulation-based performance analysis and optimization.
