Latsco Shipping Ltd. is looking to recruit a Cyber Security Analyst to join our Group IT team!

Main purpose of the role is to support the daily administration of cyber security solutions implemented across the company, provide real-time monitoring of cyber security threats and implement additional rules to assist in the detection, prevention and analysis against cyber security threats.

This position reports to the Group Cyber Security Manager and is based in
Athens.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
• Responsible for the daily administration of cyber security solutions implemented across the organisation, which require continuous monitoring and/or management of user
requests
• Act as the 1 st level of support to cyber security events, create alerts for cyber security threats, perform alert monitoring and escalate cyber incidents as necessary
• In the event of cyber incidents, participate in the Cyber Incident Response Team (CIRT) for incident resolution, investigation and follow up
• Perform periodic n etwork scan s and vulnerability assessments; Help the organisation identify technical vulnerabilities in its network and safeguard patch management activities are performed in line with the company’s policies
• Perform user access reviews and assessments of Active Directory and monitor access rights implemented across the company
• Support the preparation of- and participate in- cyber drill exercises to assess the fleets’ readiness for responding to cyber incidents
CANDIDATE PROFILE
• Degree in computer science, cyber security, or a related field
• 2 years of hands on cybersecurity experience in a related role
• Technical skills supported by relevant certifications are highly appreciated (e.g. Microsoft, CCNA, or even paths completed in HTB and/or THM)
• Previous experience in SIEM (Splunk / ArcSight / Elastic)
• Vulnerability scanning (Nessus / Nmap)
• Endpoint and network security tools/techniques (e.g. investigating antivirus alerts), will be considered a plus
• IT administration experience (Windows and Linux), will be considered a plus
• Good level of English language
• Strong troubleshooting, reasoning, problem solving
• Ability to work independently as well as be a member of a team
